It's A Small World

This past school year our second grade class has been studying the cultures and geographies of China and Taiwan. This page will guide you through some of the activities and sites that we have explored.

On the World Wide Web we have explored various sites in China, some of which are links below. Our plan was to connect with a classroom in China. However, we have found it difficult to do so because of financial and government restrictions.

We were fortunate to have found a missionary school in Taiwan to communicate with through the internet. The Morrison Academy second grade classroom is in the city of Taichung. The class is made up of mostly Chinese students and students of various other nationalities.
